The Blue Aqua / Cannon Clay merger was completed in 2021. The companies operated separately until Summer of 2022 when the decision was made to merge the offerings together and begin operating under the name Blue Aqua. ABOUT BLUE AQUA Agency
Blue Aqua was founded in 2018 by Shane Michelli. As an investor, executive, entrepreneur, and consultant, Shane had been part of several brand launches. Most of these launches were successful, but there was the occasional failure. As his team began identifying the causes of failure they began to see similar patterns. The attention span of the consumer was rapidly changing. Behavior patterns were no longer predictable and markets began to become more fragmented. Broad scope demographics and buckets of age/race/sex classifications were yielding to interest based groupings. In an effort to survive and remain viable the brick and mortar retail landscape was changing but the actions taken had the opposite effect as they were causing greater decline. The old way wasn't working. The Blue Aqua team began performing market research, studying consumer psychology, analyzing behaviors, and developing programs to help organizations thrive. They deployed holistic strategies and constantly measured against the market. The pandemic of 2020/2021 has created even more changes but also provided great opportunities to win the attention and loyalty of consumers. We have worked with manufacturers, brands, importers, retailers, and suppliers to deliver results using our proprietary processes.
ABOUT CANNON CLAY
Cannon Clay was a strategic consulting and business development firm founded in 2014. We have extensive experience in consumer products, manufacturing, brand creation and revitalization, mergers, acquisitions, and facilitation of the capital procurement process. We utilize our experience, abilities, and extensive networks to ensure we define goals, create strategic plans, procure and deploy essential resources, and implement key performance metrics to validate results. We do this through consulting, mentoring, coaching, and peer networks. We also have access to high levels of investment opportunities and have created processes to connect investors and opportunities.
